For Linecke McIlvena success in business and involvement in the community are two sides of the same coin, and the more success she enjoys, the more involved she becomes. Even while running her successful graphic design business, she still found time to help others. She has been involved in many charity and community events, including her present role as chair of North East Women, which helps women in business via networking and sharing opportunities. Linecke always puts others first in whatever she does. In 2007 she felt she was in an episode of ER. Linecke had gone into hospital for a straightforward procedure, only to wake in absolute agony.
